Directions
To Flaming Gorge Resort from Salt Lake City:
Take I-80 East, go about 30 miles past Evanston and take the Ft. Bridge exit. Turn right onto highway 414, drive to Manila. Once in Manila, turn right on highway 44. Drive 28 miles to US 191, turn left on 191. Drive north about 2 miles to Flaming Gorge Resort which is on the left side of the road.
To Flaming Gorge Resort from Denver:
Take I-70 west to Rifle. Go on highway 18 north to Meeker. Take highway 64 west to Dinosaur. Travel on highway 40 west to Vernal. Turn on highway 191. Travel about 38 miles and turn right and continue on highway 191 about 2 miles to Flaming Gorge Resort which is on the left side of the road.
To Flaming Gorge Resort from Rock Springs, Wyoming:
Go south on highway 191, travel 72 miles to Flaming Gorge Resort, which is about 4 miles south of Flaming Gorge Dam. Flaming Gorge resort is on the right side of the road.
Campgrounds
What better way to explore the Ashley National Forest than to camp. Visitors will find campgrounds located throughout the Forest.
Many of the campsites can be reserved prior to arrival by calling US Forest Service National Reservation Center. There are also sites available first come first serve in may of the campgrounds.
Camping in undeveloped areas (outside of designated campgrounds) is permitted. Please stay on existing roadways when accessing these undeveloped areas, and follow the practices in “Caring for the Forest” when camping in undeveloped areas.

Permits and License
Fishing License Obtaining a fishing license is the first step to fishing in Utah. If you're under the age of 14, you don't need a license. Fishing licenses are available at the Flaming Gorge Resort store, or come prepared and visit
wildlife.utah.gov/ and get your license before you come. Make sure to go
Green River Fishing.

Big Game License
Hunting licenses are available at the Flaming Gorge Resort store or you can also obtain them beforehand at
wildlife.utah.gov/
Limited entry remaining permits: Any limited entry permits remaining after the Big Game Drawing will be available for purchase on June 10, 2008, at 8:00 a.m.
General elk and deer remaining permits: General elk permits and deer permits remaining after the draw will be available for purchase on June 12, 2008, at 8:00 a.m.
Flaming Gorge National Recreation Use Passes

Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area including the section of the Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam is administered by the Ashley National Forest. In order to maintain and improve recreational facilities for this area, visitors who use most National Recreational Areas (NRA) are required to have a recreation use pass.
Passes must be displayed in the primary mode of transportation, or kept on your person if you are entering the recreation area on foot, horseback, or bicycle. Visitors who do not stop on the main through highways, or who stop at recreation area stores or restaurants do not need a pass.
This pass program has been authorized by Congress and over 80% of all fees collected remain here at Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area.

Firewood Permits
Don’t be found short with good intentions. Get your firewood now! Permits go on sale in June. Stop in at the store and they can direct you to the right place plus give you a travel map with your firewood permit. A minimum of four cords for $25.00 and a maximum of 10 cords are allowed for each household. Closing date for wood permits is December 20, 2008.
Christmas Tree Permits
What a better way to spend Christmas than the smell of a freshly hand cut Christmas tree.
Christmas tree permits go on sale on Friday, November 21, 2008.
Trees up to 15 feet tall may be taken and permits can be used for all species. Please do not cut a tree within 200 feet of streams, lakes, wet meadows, campgrounds and administrative sites. A map will be given with each permit.
There is a limit of one tree per household. Permits are $10.00 each and will be available at the Store.

We have employee housing in trailers available on the property for $75.00/pay period (every other week). Please indicate on your application whether or not you need housing. You will be required to read and sign a housing contract.
There are also trailer spaces and RV spaces available on the property.
Collett's Mountain Resorts, Inc. is a zero drug tolerance Company. You will be required to take and pass a drug test before being hired by this Company.
We will arrange for, and pay for, your drug test.
